Last weekend, my classmates and I went on an outing to the countryside. It was a very pleasant experience that brought us closer to nature and gave us a break from our busy school life.
We met at the school gate early in the morning and took a bus to a small mountain village. The air there was fresh, and the scenery was beautiful. We walked along a narrow path surrounded by tall trees and blooming flowers. The sound of birds singing made the atmosphere even more peaceful.
After a short walk, we found a nice spot by a small stream. We sat down and had lunch together. Some of us brought sandwiches and fruits, while others shared snacks and drinks. We talked and laughed, enjoying each other's company.
In the afternoon, we played some games like frisbee and badminton. It was fun to run around and feel the warmth of the sun. Later, we climbed up a small hill and enjoyed the view from the top. The green fields and distant mountains looked amazing.
Before we left, we cleaned up the area to keep it tidy. It was important to respect nature and leave no trash behind. As we returned to the city, we felt tired but happy. This outing not only helped us relax but also reminded us of the beauty of the natural world.
I think outings are a great way to spend time with friends and enjoy the outdoors. They help us forget about stress and enjoy simple pleasures. I hope we can go on more trips like this in the future.
