那么，我们应该怎么做呢？首先，我们要从自身做起，节约资源，减少浪费。比如随手关灯、节约用水、少用一次性塑料制品等。其次，我们可以参与植树造林活动，为地球增添更多的绿色。再次，我们要支持环保组织的工作，关注并宣传环保知识，让更多的人加入到保护地球的行列中来。
同学们，让我们携起手来，共同守护我们唯一的家园。因为只有这样，我们才能留给后代一片蓝天、一汪碧水、一座青山。

We Have Only One Earth – Speech in Chinese and English
Dear teachers, dear classmates:
Hello! Today I stand here to talk about an extremely important topic with all of you — we have only one earth.
The earth is our home, which has nurtured countless lives and carried the development of human civilization. However, in today's rapid technological advancement, have we truly realized that the earth is under unprecedented pressure? Forests are being cut down, rivers are polluted, the air is becoming murky, and biodiversity is disappearing at an alarming rate... These problems not only threaten the balance of nature but also directly affect the quality of life for each and every one of us.
Let me tell you a little story. There was once a dense forest where there were clear streams and various animals living happily together. But because people cut down trees excessively, this forest gradually turned into wasteland, the stream dried up, and the animals lost their homes. Although this story is fictional, it truly reflects the situation happening in reality. If we don’t take action to protect the environment, one day in the future, such tragedies may happen around us.
So what should we do? First, let’s start from ourselves, save resources, and reduce waste. For example, turn off lights when leaving, save water, use fewer disposable plastic products, etc. Secondly, we can participate in tree planting activities to add more greenery to the earth.
